Showtime at the Union club, Soho LDN

Last week M-SEW showed at an exclusive fashion show at the Union private members club in Soho, London. The event was organized by Space Events London, with Rebecca Mullins at the helm with her assistant Thuy Pham. The aim of the event was to provide emerging fashion talent the opportunity to showcase their work to an elite crowd in London. As one of six, it was a privilege to be part of Space Events London's first fashion event!

The venue was small and intimate. The models were directed to walk at a slow pace so guests could really see the clothes - which is a plus for the audience but pressure for me when getting everything ready for the show! Had to bring out the perfectionist indeed.

Even managed to introduce a new all red look to the collection as seen above.

The models were all from Space Model Management run by the same Rebecca Mullins as Space Events London and they were fantastic. Overall the show went well despite the odd mishap that happened with the music at one point (things happen) and despite the unexpected silences the models kept on going as normal and were on point. It was also a plus to see fellow Bermudians turn up to represent and support a Bermudian designer in London! Thank you so much for coming!
As this year is all about getting M-SEW out there, this show is definitely a step in that direction. Also can't forget a special shout out to Tami who took all the shots at the show and was practically the intern for the night. lol. Thanks a milli! :)
Onto the next one!
